We can feel the heat and the excitement of every tamer training for the tournament, testing their skills and mastering them to win, to become the first champion in the history of Dragonarya.

Before that’s happening, we want to make sure that you all have the necessary information you need to control your dragons correctly. From the very beginning, born from the holy embers, the 8 elements were created to welcome our winged friends to the lands of Dragonarya.

The elemental balance of your dragons will be essential to take advantage of them, and if you are a skillful player, the victory is already yours.

🌱 Earth Dragon

Let’s start with our tank, the Earth Element. This is a dragon created to be in the front row, receiving the most part of the enemies attacks. Yohan has said that this is one of his favorites dragons, so let’s take a look at their features:

Its Innate ability is to reduce all incoming damage. This is what makes it really a tank.

Moreover, its first active ability consists in generating a shield for 5 seconds or until is broken. While this shield is active, all basic attacks are forced to hit this dragon. All offensive abilities deal double damage to the shield.

With its second active ability, this tank dragon can select an allied dragon in order to receive all their damage, with a reduction on it. The Earth Element has one of the most important roles that you need to win a battle.

🔥 Fire Dragon

This is the favorite dragon of two essential members of the team, Edu and Ramiro, so… definitely it means something. It’s known as the physical DPS, its principal characteristic is to make strong and fast basic attacks, a dragon that likes to be in the front row to do the most damage possible to the enemy. That’s because its innate ability is that its basic damage increases when the dragon is in the front row.

But let’s also explain its active abilities. The first one throws a fireball at an enemy in the front row, damaging it, but also dealing 50% of that damage to an enemy behind them, in the back row. This means two birds with one shot, definitely a great use of its power. With its second active ability, they deal damage to an enemy, by burning them, dealing a lot of damage for 10 more seconds. Even though this is an incredible ability, the state of burning could be cured by the healing abilities of some elements.

Fast and aggressive, a great dragon to have in a front row and use its abilities wisely.

🌪️ Air Dragon

This is the main healer of the dragons, you probably always need to have one in your team. With its innate ability that basically increases its healing active abilities, it is like a wizard of health. By using its first active ability, it heals up to 3 dragons of its team. So if one of your dragons is burning because a fire enemy dragon attacks they, you could remove this state by choosing it to be healed. This could be the difference between life and death for them.

And also, this healer dragon with its second active ability can reduce the damage received to all allies by 25%. Definitely, all the other dragons want to have one of these in the team. About its best location, you can take your own decision, but you need to know that this dragon, as all healers, has a low HP, so maybe if you position it in the front row he will die soon.

⚡ Electric Dragon

The range DPS of the dragons, they were made to make damage, and a great deal of it. Probably one of the favorites of the community, their innate ability increases all the damage they make with their basic attacks and active abilities. With its first active ability it could send a thunder to the enemies, with a % of probability of bouncing to another enemy, up to 3 times!

  • And if that wasn’t enough, it makes damage to an enemy and paralyzes it with its second active ability. We definitely don’t want to make them anger. This type of dragon doesn’t have any best position to locate them, it’s up to you, but remember that even when this is the most powerful dragon, it makes much more damage than the others. Also, it has a very low HP, so be careful and decide wisely.

🍃 Plant Dragon

It’s better known as The Jack of all trades, a multifunction dragon that could supply whatever you need, covering several roles all in one. It can be a good tank by using its innate ability, that increases their HP and basic damage. But, if you want it to be a brave warrior, it counts with its first active ability that deals damage to 2 dragons, and entangles them for 5 seconds, slowing their attack speed by 50%.

But, in addition to its tank role, its second ability generates a shield for an ally. This dragon is like a mix between a tank and a brave warrior, doesn’t have a preferred location at battle, could cover the role you require, like a multipurpose dragon.

🌊 Water Dragon

Water always cures. Without water, life couldn’t exist. This dragon is called the damage reliever, like the nurse of all dragons. A mix of a healer, warrior and maybe a little tank.

Its healer part is because of its innate ability, that allows the dragon to create a protective shield preventing damage on healed dragons, but this shield is only thought for giving the time the dragon needs to recover its HP, this shield does not force enemies attacks, like the other ones do. This applies to its first active ability, that heals a moderate amount to a single dragon.

If you want to see their warrior side, you would like its second active ability, that wraps the enemy in a bubble dealing damage, and slows its attack speed by 50%. Even there’s not a recommended specific position to place this beast (because it has a low HP) is always better to put it in the back row, but really it’s up to you.

❄️ Ice Dragon

A resistant warrior, that you always need in your team. Alejo’s favorite dragon, use its power to make as much damage as possible, while supporting several attacks at the same time. This is possible because of its innate ability that increases its HP, ability damage, and basic damage.

With its first active ability, it can deal damage and freeze an enemy in place for 5 seconds, preventing it to be able to attack. It also could protect itself while attacking, this is with its second active ability, that creates a shield around it, and once the effect ends, or the shield is destroyed by an enemy attack, it deals damage to an enemy.

🐍 Poison Dragon

The newest of the dragons, but with a superb power. Its innate ability splits in two, on the one hand every time the poison dragon bite makes damage, but also, leaves a small amount of poison that will damage the enemy after a few seconds. And the second part consist in increase its basic damage only when he is placed in the back row, that is, if you put the poison dragon in the front row, you will not be able to enjoy this innate ability tied to the basic attack.

With its first active ability, it makes damage with the attack, but also poison the enemy, damaging it for 10 seconds. But, take notes, a healer dragon from the enemy can remove this state. Also, we could see all its power by using its second active ability, toxic breath. It’s a rage attack that makes the same that the first one, but to three enemies at the same time.

Something we like to mention is that the poison dragons are immune to poison, so make them fight each other is not an excellent idea. Have that in mind when you choose the target of your dragons.

Ask a hundred tamers, you will always find the same answer when it comes to assembling the perfect team. Building a great formation is an art. You must become a general in strategy, a true Indiana Jones in the adventure that lies ahead. Smooth as a brush you must paint your lineup as if you were Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel.

Now is the time for you to test all these skills and show your own. To properly build your team, knowing where you truly belong. What harm could you cause to others, and what are the benefits of having one specific Dragon in your lines! Having the ability to affect the battle at any given point is one of the keys to build a strong formation.

We once said, you must consider the innate ability. This is the base foundation on the game strategy of the Tournament between Clans. The moment has arrived, you must build an astonishing team and crush your opponent!
